What is next?

What is next for me?

From August to the beginning of October I released a torrent of new material and I got a little tired. Okay, a lot tired. And my editors got pretty tired too. So, it’s time to give them some time off before they get my next sludge of words. My main editor (my wife) was considering divorce. If you saw some of the drafts that I sent her you would understand why.

Now that the entirety of I Killed Bigfoot is out, along with this year’s horror anthology it is time to look to the future.

I am going to be working on my first full length novel. In fact, there are three complete chapters to this novel already. I’ve been plotting and writing bits and pieces of this since last summer. This book is going to contain some horror elements, but it is going to mostly be a comedy book of historical fiction.

That’s right, this book is going to be getting to the bottom of some of the greatest mysteries the world has ever known. If you think of a mystery it is more than likely is going to be in this book in some form or another.

I don’t want to give the title away just yet. I want to keep things a little close to the vest just in case something is potentially stolen and taken to market before I can get it there. My plan is to shop the book for a little while after I wrap it up and attempt to get an agent.

If the agent thing does not pan out I will be going with my tried and true method of self-publishing. If I do go the self-publishing route you can more than likely expect the book out sometime in the first half of 2019.

Don’t think that I will be disappearing in the interim though. You can expect a short story form me here and there (aiming for at least two a month). Along with more Neghost Stories that will be at the Grave Plot Podcast.

As always, thank you for reading and check out my books. You can also follow me on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
